My pals over at Haiti Design Co are launching a new project called the Banana Leaf Initiative. They are working to not only provide stability to individuals through job creations, but to encourage personal health and well-being of their artisan community through a holistic approach. In kicking off this project, they are building a Wellness Rooftop which will serve as a community center for educational seminars, nutritional counseling, group fitness classes, and an expanded rooftop garden.
