The 58th Grammy Awards was filled with many special moments. Lady Gaga stole the show for me with her amazing tribute to David Bowie. She captured his essences on and off stage in this fascinating outfit by Marc Jacobs. Gaga’s look may be un-rentable but the following 10 great red carpet outfits are….including mine!
My second year as Rented Lifestyle on the Grammy red carpet was just as nerve racking as the first. I wore this beautiful blue La Petite Robe di Chiara Boni gown from Rent The Runway with my Valentino rock studded clutch that couldn’t of matched more perfect! The sparkle Aquazurra Fontana crystal pumps and necklace by Kendra Scott polished off my look.
If it’s not broke don’t fix it. Rocking a pink maxi with built-in bikini bottom by Atelier Versace, Taylor Swift’s newer version from last years blue maxi dress with micro-mini underneath may have more skin exposed but still had a touch of class. Or could it be the Anna Wintour inspired hair? Looking to rock your own rental pink maxi try this TY-LR skirt from Rent The Runway.
Awesomely supportive bestie Selena Gomez accompanied winner for Album of the Year Taylor Swift on the red carpet and she sparkled in this Calvin Klein cut-out dress. Looking for your own navy sparkle with cut-outs you can rent this Jay Godfrey gown from Rent The Runway.
I saw my favorite look right when I walked onto the red carpet. Ellie Goulding looks stunning in this Stella McCartney. To rent this look try the Jill Jill Stuart dress from Rent The Runway with a rhinestone bib necklace turned backwards and volia!
Looking stunning, as usual, Carrie Underwood wore Nicholas Jerbran. I don’t understand how she ended up on some worst dressed lists. I love this dress and if you do too this Badgley Mischka from Rent The Runway is waiting to be rented.
Can’t have a best dressed list without a jumpsuit- love the jumpsuits. Kaley Cuoco wore one of my favorite designers, Naeem Khan, and sparkled in this white beauty. If you are dying for a white jumpsuit rent this over-the-top HunterBell from Rent The Runway. I know it’s on my rental list.
I love Adele. Period. She’s beautiful. I loved her Givenchy gown for the Grammy Awards and I loved her performance. And if you are sick of me only posting dresses for petite women, this rental is for you. If you didn’t know, Rent The Runway has plus size dresses available. It’s terrible that I have never posted about this, I’m actually embarrassed I have never brought this to anyone’s attention. But that changes now, you can rent this awesome Kay Unger from Rent The Runway along with lots of other great options.
Chrissy Teigen wowed us all in her Yousef Al-Jasmi. She’s got to be the prettist pregnant woman. Since it’s impossible to find dressy maternity rentals (major opportunity here rental companies) I am taking the chance to continue to promote that you can find plus sizes on Rent The Runway. Please do not read into this, I mean nothing other than saying you can rent this caped Adrianna Papell from Rent The Runway.
Andra Day and Ellie Goulding’s duet blew everyone away. Andra floated down the red carpet earlier in this custom Michael Costello wowing us all. Get the complete look with this Badgley Mischka dress (it’s got an amazing back) and white fox stole by Adrienne Landau both from Rent The Runway.
Pantsuits are so classic and Bonnie McKee looked “Bombastic” in this custom Jim Tanner. Pantsuits are few and far between for rentals, but I did find this Rebecca Minkoff blazer available from Rent The Runway- matching pants will be difficult but you can always go with black.
It’s highly unlikely you will be finding Joy Villa’s Grammy get-up as a rental. I did stumble upon this one as I was scoping out the fashion for this post (video it on Facebook) Last year this lady wore a orange plastic fence wrapped around her, so this year she went for zippers to top that. Wonder what will be next year….
